James Moore, PhD, PT, PCS

 Physical Therapist, July 1999

Jim was born in Washington DC and graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Special Education. He taught special education in the public school system until he returned to college to earn his MSPT in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 1990. He has been practicing in pediatrics since 1990 and in private practice since 1995. Jim returned to college in 2006 at the University of Miami to complete his PhD in Physical Therapy.

In addition to treating patients at CTI, Jim is also known as Dr. Moore at the University of Miami where he teaches neurology. He also speaks nationally and internationally on topics related to gross motor development, balance and walking in children. His latest adventure found him teaching in Ethiopia in May 2015. 

When Jim is not at work or teaching he enjoys spending time with his wife Karen, two boys, Jake and Keith and his dogs. He likes to hike, camp, ride his bike, and relax at the beach.


Nina Murray

Office Manager, February 2001 

Nina first began working part time in Jim's home office as an office assistant to Karen. In the beginning, CTI only offered therapy services in the home. As CTI grew, so did Nina's responsibilities. Here she is, working her scheduling magic. 

Nina was born and raised in Jupiter, Florida. She received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from IRSC.

When Nina is not at work she is trying to survive the middle school years with her son, Gavin.  She enjoys the outdoors, walking her dogs, relaxing at home, and spending time with her husband Troy. 


Susan Lucchese, MOT, OTR/L

Lead Occupational Therapist, June 2001

Susan, a Florida Native, was born in Orlando. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science with an emphasis on developmental psychology. She was a research assistant for two published doctoral candidates while at the university. Susan received her Masters in Occupational Therapy with Honors from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. She began her career in a hospital based outpatient pediatric rehabilitation, NICU, and early intervention. 

Susan has completed a variety of continuing education coursework including: Myofascial Release for Pediatrics, Combining NDT and Sensory Integration, Sensory Processing Disorders, Pediatric Feeding Difficulties related to Sensory Defensiveness, Feeding and Swallowing in the NICU, Interactive Metronome, Therapeutic Listening Program, Pediatric UE Splinting, Handwriting without Tears, Vision/Visual Processing Difficulties, and Mary Benbow's Find Motor and Handwriting Skills course.

Susan enjoys spending family time with her husband and son. In Susan's free time she likes to travel with her family, paddle board, and relax at the beach. She also has an interest in photography and yoga. 


Sharon Garton, PT

Physical Therapist, February 2002

Sharon was born in California and raised in Colorado. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to PT school Sharon was a personal trainer, she also trained high school students for the Special Olympics. 

Sharon has attended a variety of courses expanding her education in Physical Therapy, including NDT handling and baby course, Barnes Myofascial release, Myofascial release for Pediatrics and Kinesio Taping for Pediatrics. She has attended extensive course work in Aquatic therapy, an area of PT she loves and enjoys doing in the summer months. 

When Sharon is not working she pursues her love of running and the outdoors. She enjoys spending time with her husband. 


Joan Hooks, MPT, C/NDT

Clinical Director / Physical Therapist, March 2005

Joan was born in Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelors in Dance from the University of Iowa. While teaching and performing Joan developed dance programs for varying abilities and implemented them through local school districts. She is a grant recipient for projects that involve dance for the special needs through Children's Services Council and VSArts. Joan received her Masters in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in Virginia. Joan completed her pediatric certification in Neurodevelopmental Treatment in 2014. Joan began her PT career at a children's hospital where she worked inpatient rehabilitation, NICU, PICU, outpatient and early intervention.

Joan has a variety of continuing education including: NDT Baby Handling, Torticollis Management and Treatment, Pilates for Therapist, Myofascial Release for Pediatrics, Barnes MFR I, Intervention in the NICU, Manual Therapy for Pediatrics, Gross Motor Development for Down Syndrome. 

Joan is an adjunct faculty member in the PT department at the University of Miami. She was a volunteer physical therapist with the UM project medishare for Haiti in 2010. 

Joan's outside interests include performing arts, Pilates and gardening.  


Alyssa Istler, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant, November 2013

Alyssa is originally from Lenox, Massachusetts. She graduated from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania in 2004 with her Bachelor of Science in Biology. After moving to Florida following graduation, she pursued a career in animal training working for the Palm Beach Zoo training animals for their educational shows and programs.

In 2011 Alyssa began PTA school at South University where she graduated top of her class. Her passion educating kids rolled over from the zoo to physical therapy where she pursued a career in pediatrics. She worked in various clinical, school, and home health settings and is certified in early childhood invention before settling in at Children’s Therapies. Her continuing education includes courses in pediatric NDT, pediatric Barnes myofascial release and torticollis.

When Alyssa is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and her beautiful 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter. 


Jen Razook, M.S. CCC-SLP

Speech Therapist, August 2017

Jen was born and raised in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She began her career in the field of speech pathology as a speech assistant in 2000. She worked under the guidance of a certified SLP, who specialized in treating children diagnosed with ASD. In 2004, she graduated from NOVA Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL with a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology. She continued to work with children with various speech/language and developmental disorders in outpatient clinics, private homes, day care centers, and public and private school settings. 

Jen currently holds a license in the state of Florida to practice Speech Language Pathology and is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Associates (ASHA).


Kristin Lucchesi, OTR/L 

Occupational Therapist, October 2019

Kristin was born in Rhode Island. She attended Grad school for Occupational Therapy in Connecticut at Quinnipiac University, graduating in 1998. She recently relocated back to Florida from South Carolina. 

Kristin has been practicing in pediatrics for over 20 years. She has an extensive background treating children diagnosed with ASD. She has completed a variety of continuing education coursework including: Therapeutic listening program, Brain Gym, Executive functioning, Handwriting without Tears, Kinesiology taping for pediatrics, Pediatric feeding disorders, DIR Floortime, Visual rehabilitation and ocular control, primitive reflex integration, integrating NDT and sensory integration techniques, and Electrical stimulation certification.

Kristin enjoys spending time with her family in the South Florida outdoors. 


Kaitlin Marsh, MS, CCC-SLP

Speech Therapist, July 2022


Kaitlin was born and raised in Jupiter, but left paradise to attend undergrad at the University of Central Florida. She then moved to Dallas, Texas in 2017 to pursue her Masters in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating in May 2019. She continued to live in the Dallas/Plano area in Texas for 3 years after receiving her degree and worked as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist with Lewisville ISD, working with a wide variety of elementary aged students and speech-language impairments.

In the summer of 2022, Kaitlin happily moved back to the Jupiter area and started her career with CTI in July. Her biggest approach to therapy is having a positive environment and relationship with her clients and helping them reach their potential.

Outside of work, Kaitlin loves to be at the beach, go boating or paddle boarding, hosting trivia, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog, Cannon. 


Cory Roberston, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist, July 2021

Cory found CTI when he recently moved to Florida from Connecticut. 

Cory was born in Maryland. He received his degree from Towson University in 2013. Knowing his passion was in pediatrics, he also got his graduate school certificate in autism studies.

Cory has practiced for over 8 years. He specializes in ASD, ADHD, sensory processing, and behavior management. He enjoys including parents/caregivers in the treatment process in order to support growth of both the child and family. 

Cory enjoys spending time with his family, watching baseball, and playing board games.
